AWA’s comments for the Cadomin Area Trails Management Plan

As a part of the Cardinal Divide Conservation Coalition (CDCC), AWA provided input to the Cadomin Area Trails Management Planning team to help inform future trail development and land use plans. AWA’s comments highlighted relevant research and emphasized using biodiversity baselines, including presence and distribution of species at risk and critical habitat, to help land managers determine where trails should be located and what types of use should be permitted to support ecological integrity in the planning area.
