AWA and Exposed response to Ethics Commissioner refusal to investigate

On June 23, the Ethics Commissioner wrote that he would not be investigating the conduct of Minister Todd Loewen (Forestry and Parks). This came in response to our request seven months prior (November 2025) to investigate Minister Loewen for his Conflicts of Interest.
On August 5, 2026, we expanded on our reasons for requesting an investigation, asking for transparency and accountability in Alberta’s provincial government.
